A re-internment ceremony to remember and respectfully lay to rest the indigenous CHamoru remains encountered during the archaeological recovery operations required for construction of the Ylig River Bridge. The event will be held at the Ylig Memorial site located on Route 4 at Ylig Bay, in Yona, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The ceremony is open to the public.

Motorists are advised that traffic will be restricted to one lane at Route 4 Ylig Bridge on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously, observe all posted speed limits, and carefully heed flaggers directions. Public parking will be at the area entrance to Manenggon. Alternate routes and/or adjusting drive times when feasible are encouraged.
