Traffic Advisory for the Week of December 17-23

Route 3 Widening

Construction activities are ongoing along Route 3 from just north of Route 28 to just south of Potts Junction. Motorists can expect lane closures and flagger controlled traffic.
 

Route 1/3 Intersection Improvements (Dededo)

Construction activities are ongoing at the Route 1/ Route 3 intersection. Motorists are advised that there will be intermittent lane closures on Route 1 southbound from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Route 3 southbound traffic turning right onto Route 1 southbound are restricted to right turn on Green only. Motorists continuing southbound on Route 1 are advised to merge to the open lanes as directed by traffic signs.
 

Route 1 and Route 8 Resurfacing

The DPW contractor, Hawaiian Rock Products, has scheduled milling and paving along northbound lanes on Route 1 - Asan/Piti (from Fish Eye Marine Park to Church of Christ) between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There will be intermittent lane closures and shifts. Motorists traveling north on Route 1 - Asan/Piti (from Fish Eye Marine Park to Church of Christ) are advised to drive with caution, merge to the open lanes as directed by signs and flaggers, and to expect delays.
 

Dongat Lane – Chalan Pago

The Department of Public Works (DPW) Highway Maintenance crew has scheduled paving on Saturday, December 23, 2018 starting from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution through the construction areas and to expect delays during these times due to intermittent lane closures and shifts.
 

Harmon/Dededo – Mendioka Street (Saint Paul's School)

The Department of Public Works (DPW) Highway Maintenance crew will be installing pavement marking starting from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution through the construction areas and to expect delays during these times due to intermittent lane closures and shifts.
 

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously through all construction zones, observe all posted speed limit and construction signs, and carefully heed to flaggers. Alternative routes and/or adjusting drive times when feasible are encouraged.
